As a core subject, one of the school’s specialisms and a key skill for life, Maths is viewed with extreme importance throughout the school.
This successful department is located in a suite of classroom with its own dedicated ICT suite.
In Key Stage 3, the department delivers the National Curriculum, as well as beginning Modular GCSE and GCSE Statistics before the end of Year 9.
Maths Club operates most evenings after school and the department organises a wide range of extra-curricular activities, as well as providing additional one-to-one tuition for Key Stage 3 ‘catch up’.
